The Role
The work on the intership was extremley interesting. From day one it was clear that you were to be one of the team. I had a great time on this ntership and willt ake the experiences forwards to the end of my university degree and future work.
I felt I was on a level playing feild with my collegues, I was able to talm to them on a personal level both in and outside of work.
On day 1 goals were set which helped me to align my way through the intership. At the end of each Job or peice of work I was given constructive feedback from my direct manager which I could use to improve myself on the next job.
On a daily business I was entrusted with enough work to keep me busy all day although not too much that I felt rushed or under pressure. Time was also avaliable for me to work on on-going projects which were part of my internship.
I was given gradual reponsibilty. At the start of the internship I was under close supervision whilst doing work however towards the end the supervision was much more relaxed and I was able to perform more complex tasks independenlty.
My shills were developemt massivly. The work I was doing was relevenat to wht I had been taught in university although on a much more practical level. This allowed me to put what I knew into practice aswell as further devlop my skills in more complex areas.
The Company
Relaxed and hard working, friendly and encouraging
Very well organised, on day one we were given a schedule of what is going to be happening and any changes to this was made clear well in advance
Helped to improve business confidence greatly by flying us to a training centre just outside london.
The internship has made me want to work for the firm more than ever
