About You
I found the internship very enjoyable, and the exposure I gained from the programme made my decide it was a career path I 100% wanted to take up in the future. In particular everyday in the office was different, whereby I was faced with different challenges, illustrating that a career in real estate is not mundane, which was a big factor for me.
Throughout the internship, I felt extremely valued. I genuinely felt part of the team I was working with, this was illustrated by the fact that I also was given a heathy amount of responsibility throughout the programme, whereby I felt the work I was conducting was of importance to the team.
The support and guidance I received at JLL was fantastic. I found everyone in the office to be very approachable and happy to give advice/guidance when needed. In particular I believe the support given to my by my supervisor was invaluable, and I believe his support has given me additional knowledge and skills that I can now to forward with me in my future career.
The programme has been a brilliant in expanding my skills set. I now feel better prepared to be able to work in the real estate, as I am now better equipped with certain skills that are essential with the industry such as networking and presentations.
The Company
It was very clear that a lot of time and effort had gone in to structuring the programme, which helped facilitate the interns in getting the most out of the internship. A number of events were organised such as a presentation workshop along with out of work social events such as a triathlon, which truly illustrated to us what it would be like to be a graduate at JLL.
The atmosphere within the office I found to be particularly appealing. It was both friendly and welcoming, and I found the employees to be very approachable.
It was clear that JLL took the approach that we as interns were potential future employees of JLL and therefore invested in our personal training and development. Such as organising almost daily presentations for us to attend, a presentation workshop and also scheduling networking events.
Due to the exposure I gained, I believe I now know what it would be like to be a graduate at JLL.
I believe I now have a firm grasp of the culture at JLL, due to the programme.
It was the daily activities I was exposed to that made me decide it is now a career path I defiantly want to take up.
Everything Else
I was paid a weekly wage and also reimbursed expenses such as travel.
Yes, I received many invitations to take part in events that allowed me to meet employees within the company.
I was given genuine exposure to networking/social events, which were both insightful and enjoyable.
Yes, I am aware there are many out of work opportunities to divulge in, such as charity work and sporting events.
Definitely.
