The Role
It was always a challenge, and I was able to ask for work and support when I needed to.
I wasn't ever treated like an intern I was treated like a valued member of the team.
Although at first I was nervous to ask, I was always supported.
I could be busier if I needed more work. Others were always willing to give me work and support me with it.
I had to cover my managers role in illness and I was still trusted with responsibility constantly.
I believe now what I have learned on my placement has allowed me to understand university studies in practice.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and it was a shock to me how relaxed the office was
At times it felt a bit disorganised, but there were many students and the education days ran quite seamlessly
I was able to take part in many education days but I was also able to take online education when I had free time.

I have applied back to a graduate role and the education for this role is very high.
The Culture
There were many nights out such as evenings at the pub quiz or going for drinks, with the placement students and in my team we had several meals out.
I lived at home for my year, but the cost of socialising I would class as quite average.
There was a good nightlife but it was more between the placement students
Yes there were many social events such as summer and christmas parties and pub quizzes that allowed people to meet others that they don't work with.
