The Role
To the extent that you can work a 12 hour day and not notice or mind at all.
Very Valued. All colleagues will wish to interact with you and value your opinion and contribution.
There is a clear pathway for training and development with enjoyable training days out with interns from across the country. It is vital to maintain ownership of your desk/ ledger as you are given less guidance, and more personal responsibility.
Always busy.
A great deal. From day one you are handed real responsibilities which develop and grow throughout the placement. An intern can share just as much responsibility as an Associate and therefore develop their desk just as well.
My interpersonal, organizational, and IT skills have improved dramatically. The learning curve is steep but every day became more enjoyable as my understanding of the recruitment cycle and industries grew.
The Company
Upbeat, Always a warm environment.
Very organised. Each intern is always made aware of training or meetings which they need to attend.
Three days of training in the heart of central London with interns from across the country is supported by numerous web seminars at lunch throughout the year. Arguably the most important training takes place with the managers and senior consultants working on your floor. This provides a huge insight insight for each trainee to the company, the recruitment industry, and best-practice. . Hearing from the best people in your business is very inspiring and offers the opportunity to see which techniques and approaches suit your own style of work.
