The Role
I learned a lot of interesting material and engaged in exciting work.
Although the team was very busy and under pressure they always tried to make time to explain things to me.
The idea is that you try as much without guidance and support from line manager and only if you have exhausted all other options.
Very busy towards the beginning but once you get into a routine you ''feel'' less busy although you are still doing the same amount of work.
I was given responsibility as if I was a permanent member of the team.
I learned and developed a very wide range of skills but with particular emphasis on communication. This is critical in banking and as a result I feel more confident and articulate in my communication.
The Company
Although everyone is very busy working on their own deals, there is always laughter and most of the time a relaxed atmosphere.
Well structured and very well organised.
We had 2 initial days of training prior to the internship. There are also a range of training sessions hosted during the internship.

The Culture
Many events were organised to get to know my fellow colleagues and it was always in a friendly setting.
Canary wharf is probably slightly more expensive than anywhere else but pretty close to central london prices.
Loads of pubs and bars minutes away from the office.
A wide range of sport activities as well as volunteering activities.
