The Role
Challenging but very informative and extremely friendly and helpful people.
Felt like I was actually helping with supervisor's tasks.
Everyone was very helpful and ensured that I had work to do and that I understood the task.
Even when there was no work assigned to me specifically I could do research into different areas on my own.
Given enough responsibility to feel like I was learning but there was always support when needed and work was always checked by a supervisor.
Showed me that I would like to work in a law firm!
The Company
Serious and hardworking but friendly and very happy to have a chat.
Everything worked very well and the structure meant that you always had something to be getting on with even if you had no work assigned by your department.
We were required to give a presentation and a mock negotiation so learnt new skills and supervisors taught us a lot about the legal system.
Subsidised Canteen
The Culture
Organised meals were great to get to know everyone.
London is quite expensive in general.
We didn't really explore the nightlife as we were preparing for interviews etc
Meals and trips were organised and we got on well as a group so had a drink after work a couple of times.
