The Role
Very much so, colleagues were supportive and very willing to share knowledge when you show an interest in a specific product or area.
Very valued, once I had shown an interest in taking on more responsibility I was trained up on the key system I was essentially allowed to take a line role in the team.
Lots of support there is a mentoring scheme and the line managers are reactive when you ask them about things.
The hours are fair, but if you feel like a real workhorse there is always the opportunity to get involved in new tasks.
Responsibility grew as a level of competence and interest was shown.
Lots, I completed a certificate in LEAN training from Cardiff University.
The Company
People are friendly, there are lots of social opportunities, grads are all nice too.
Really well, we were introduced to many directors and managing directors. We also got to know people across the entire bank (its a pretty big bank).
Lots, once I was trusted with and had shown some ability people started to give me more work and rely on me for many tasks.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I think good, I haven't had an offer yet though.
The Culture
Yes, 350 interns in different roles. I bumped into fellow interns in Shoreditch, Covent Garden, Soho pretty much every time I went there in the evening.
It's expensive, but the salary is decent.
In London?
Charity challenges, drinks and other social events.
