  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my work during the internship. As opposed to university life, where most of my code has somewhere between 1000 and 2000 lines, I had the opportunity to explore a huge piece of software, understand it and create something by using parts of the already existing code.

  • Nice and friendly colleagues, they now how to have a laugh. I feel respected.

  • Everyone was helpful with me, whenever I needed some advice or help, someone was willing to help me.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had to work on a project so I was busy most of the time, but it was also interesting(not a repetetive or boring task).

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I consider that I was given a pretty big responsibility as I had to create a piece of software which was integrated inside the main component.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I really had the opportunity to develop my teamwork, social and networking skills. Moreover, my coding knowledge also improved.

  • Mix between business and friendly environment.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Most of my software was already installed when I started the internship so I managed to kick off immediately. Moreover, nice speakers and networking events were organised.

  • Colleagues invested a lot of their personal time to help me.

  • The people that I interacted with were all friendly.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Pretty expensive, but it is London so I expected this. Still, I managed to have a lot of fun and got the opportunity to socialize a lot.

  • Didn't really go out, just at normal bars, not clubs.

  • Yes, there are a lot of opportunities. Sport, cultural, etc
