The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and honestly did not envisage that the internship would be this entertaining. As a testament to this the time has gone by extremely quickly.
Extremely valued. It was really good to be involved in so many different aspects of the job and after I had shown a keen interest for the role I feel that was reciprocated and I was allowed to work/help on many important documents.
A lot of support. If I ever had a question there would be more than one person available to answer and they were always very willing to help and guide me.
I always had something to do, there was never a time there I was at my desk without a piece of work.
I feel I was given as much responsibility as I wanted (within reason) and the better I did at tasks the more I trusted which was a very rewarding structure
It was a very good experience for my soft skills through talking/interacting to people in various positions, and for my hard skills when working. I feel as if this internship has been invaluable from a personal development standpoint.
The Company
All of the people were extremely friendly and welcoming, There were many social opportunities and it was very easy to talk to people and make friends.
I think the structure was very well planned and it was obvious a lot of thought and effort had gone into the set up of the internship.
There were specific training days both for soft skills and for harder skills at the beginning of the internship. The entire internship was a personal development curve for me.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Extremely, I could definitely see myself working here in the future and this internship has only cemented that thought.
The Culture
Yes, definitely. There were many social events for interns and again, it was very easy to make friends with them. There was as much of a social scene as what you made of it and how much you got involved.
It's not cheap, but you are well enough compensated to deal with it.
The internship was in London...
There were challenges, presentations, social events, sports teams, pretty much everything you could think of.
