The Role
When kept busy work was enjoyable and I certainly learned a lot from it. Sometimes, due to the size of the company, managers were busy and I was left on my own for periods of time.
Managers were very appreciative of work I did and there was a great student community in all offices allowing me to make a number of new friends.
Great support at times but at others was left on my own for periods of time.
Bored at some points, other worked at other. Generally the balance was fairly good though.
Varied on the task but on some things was given a huge amount of responsibility which I loved.
Very much so. Especially my technical computing skills (MS office, Lotus notes etc)
The Company
Good student community and plenty of events and activities to get involved with.
Fairly well organised and was always people to go to when things weren't running so smoothly. The foundation team were very efficient and helpful.
There were lots of opportunities and a number of the gap year students did paid training courses for their roles. There wasn't such a need for mine but believe I could had i pursued it.

I liked the company atmosphere but the product may not intrest me enough to consider working for them again.
The Culture
I really enjoyed my year and made lots of new friends.
Fairly expensive in relative terms but am used to having grown up in London.
Very good night life with all london clubs within reach and good bars around the area.
There were plenty of things ot get involved with. Sports, charity events, "giveback" etc
