About You
I feel that the insight was mostly enjotable, with carefully thought out activities to.break in at the times when the presentations were getting long and boring. The staff was extremely helpful and answered all the questions I had, even if it meant that they had to delay going back to work. Moreover, the organizers accomodated my Muslim friends' requests to pray in the prayer room, which I thought was very thoughtful. The birmingham building was also very nic, the food was decent (though I'd say the allowance was just barely enough to grab lunch) and all in all I enjoyed it.
I felt I was really valued and the employees there really treated us with respect, guiding us, helping us, and answering all the questions that we had. Out inputs were also greatly valued and I do think KPMG is actively trying to let us feel comfortable during the insight, by accomodating many of our requests, including allergies in food, prayers and others.
The guidance and support in general was very well done. By the end of the insight I was full of ibformation how.KPMG worked, and all my unclear points about the functuons of some departments in KPMG were answered thoroughly. Support was literally everywhere and everyone was nice to us, telling us what to do or where to go when we were lost, and helping us during the activities.
i dont think I have the ability to answer this question yet but I believe the business awareness, SWOT analysis, and teamwork building would be vital in the future.
The Company
I felt the organizers really tried to organize this insight event well, and most of it did seem very organized. However, there were some occasions, especially during the first day, when we wefe given contradictory instrcuctions during some of the activities, hinting that it could be more.structued. But this is the first year they are doing this, so I think it is acceptable.
As i elaboratwd above, it was excellent
I felt it wasnt long enough, and I left wanting more, but they did invest in us by holding this. The insight program could really be longer go show their.investment in us, but I believe the long recruitment process already shows how much they do invest in us.
They explained to us clearly what we would be doing during the first year of a full role, working in rotations etc. The benefits were clear, and travel opportunities, promotion routes and others were also mentioned.
We were immersed in the company culture and it was reiterated in the presentations many tines. The company culture was a stress point in the program, and was even in a part of our activity.
It made me feel much clearer on what I want to do in the future by explaining every department clearly. Every question about the function, hours, and what I would.be doing was answered, so it wasnt hard for me.to choose what I want to do for the summer intern.
Everything Else
We had lunch allowances and we could reimburse our travel expenses. Although,.I would say they should increase their lunch allowances as many of us exceeded the allowance by a bit because it just wasnt quite enough.
Yes there was. We had an hour long opportunity to talk.to others, mostly graduates, about their work here. It was great and we enjoyed it.
It was good, but I thought it could be longer, as many of us had to prematurely end our.conversation with the graduates.
Yes. Clubs, activities social volunteering and other activities were explained
Yes I would recommebt this insight program to my.friend.
