The Role
I enjoyed meeting new people and was motivated by competition and making sales.
I loved me team and met people from tons of different uni's.
I still keep in touch with my manager from 2006.
I have always worked hard in the summer, so I didn't mind the long hours.
I think I learned so much about networking and people's reasons for making purchases/investments.
The Company
We live with a host family, so there was no office, but my roommates were lots of fun.
The sales school was amazing and I spoke to a manager everyday.
International Travel
Financial Bonus
It's a results based business, so if you're hard working they'll always make room for you.
The Culture
During the year their are lots of socials and trips, but during the summer it's longer working hours. I don't mind working hard with people I have had lots of fun with as well.
The cost depended on what we did... If we went to the lake, it was free, but if we went to a theme park, it might be 50$.
We got to do all the activities within the area we were placed, like swimming, tourist sights and ball games, but there is not really any nightlife during the summer. There is quite a bit at other times of the year though.
During the summer, there's not much else except hanging out with your team. I never felt like I needed to get involved in anything else because I liked my work.
