The Role
I enjoyed the internship pretty much cos the colleagues are very friendly, working atmosphere is good, plus the internship is well organised.
I am actually working with them and get totally involved in the team.
I was given much support that there's a buddy who's assigned to assist me. Plus the people leader has arranged meetings with me to catch up, and I have meetings with my performance manager each week to seek for help and guidance.
It depends, in the first two weeks, I was reading materials and helping with some small stuff that I was not quite busy. But in the last two weeks, as I was given heavy work by two colleagues, I was pretty busy and may need to work overtime then.
I've been given much responsibility. For example, I am helping the team to develop a new document that my team has never done that before. P
During the internship, skills such as communication skills, leadership, collaboration skills are highly improved. In terms of technical skills, I've developed my Excel, especially in VBA, QlkSense and Oacle Fusion skills, which is pretty useful.
The Company
To be honest, the atmosphere is pretty good in office. Colleagues are really really friendly and treat me very well, giving me much guidance and support. I can always ask them questions and they are willing to answer.
There's a buddy who is assigned to assist me and there's a competition which aims to develop our understanding and insights about KPMG. Plus, there are many social activities with other interns and graduates, which is pretty good. All in all, it's well organised and you can always find someone to solve your problem and talk to.
There are many workshops which hep me to develop my personal skills, such as effective communication. And the buddy will give much guidance on career development.

Company Parties/Events
There's much flexibility for you to rotate between teams and departments, plus, you can choose your own teams and try new things. And if you have new business ideas, there's always chance for you to talk to managers and implement your ideas.
The Culture
Yes, absolutely, we watched the Wimbledon, have drinks, dinners etc together.
I did my internship in London, the cost of living is pretty high but the salary can cover it.
Drinks and social events on Fridays. Usually, after work, it's pretty tired to have much drink things.
Yes absolutely, there are many events not only for interns but also for graduates and other employees, such as drinks, lectures, workshops etc.
