The Role
I enjoyed the internship immensely. It was an eye opening experience.
I felt valued because they gave me work which mattered and that was helpful.
My supervisor/manager gave me a lot of support and guidance. Every two or three days we would have a catch up session on my work and how I was doing in general.
Normal working hours of 9-5pm. Sometimes I stayed slightly later if there was urgent work.
A fair amount of responsibility in current projects by the team.
It will assist me in the sense that I now have more real world and practical experience in the finance industry which will add value to my career planning.
The Company
It was peaceful and professional.
The internship was extremely organised with training and review sessions provided very regularly.
The company provided extensive training and the staff were very willing to spend time outside of the stipulated hours to chat with interns.
