The Role
Great job, which has given me loads of experience
Not once have I made a coffee, and I haven't felt like an intern
1 on 1's with my manager every other week and I know if I hit an issue I can ask her at any time for support
Always things to be getting on with, but as long as I focused I could always get it done
Responsiblilty was given to me as I went along, getting more and more! I am now doing key bits of work for the company that are valued by the leadership team
Training on tap that has made me better at a whole range of skills such as selling and Microsoft Office
The Company
we worked hard and played hard
It's well set up and has been organised to a tea!
We were invested in nearly as much as full time staff, with all training and events being available to interns too
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
Been extended and hoping for the grad scheme
The Culture
We reguarlly met up after work and have a good laugh over lunch
£300/month rent - just the same as uni really
Clubs aren't great but they do the job. Shopping is better though
Theres a club for most things at Microsoft, if theres not one already its easy enough to set up a new one
