The Role
I really enjoyed my year at BMW, I was given lots of great projects and the team were amazing.
No one in the Group treated you as an 'intern' or beneath them.
Was given good support, however also encouraged you to use your initiative.
Fluctuated depending on projects, but there was always something to be getting on with.
Throughout the year the responsibility given was increased, however there was always someone to ask if you were stuck.
Having never worked in an office environment before I believe the skills I learnt here, even basic excel skills etc will be incredibly useful especially after uni
The Company
The team I worked with were all very friendly and there was a good atmosphere in our office.
I had several projects planned for me to get involved in and there was plenty of work for me to do.
Went on a training course, also had the opportunity to go on learn @ works.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
It seems like a great place to work! Especially with the changing culture. However I would like to try working for another company after uni
The Culture
Lunches with the team and fellow interns. But not much social scene
I lived at home and commuted so never really experienced the costs of living and socialising there.
It was a small town so only a couple of pubs.
There was the football tournament which involved international travel.
