  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my year at BMW, I was given lots of great projects and the team were amazing.

  • No one in the Group treated you as an 'intern' or beneath them.

  • Was given good support, however also encouraged you to use your initiative.

  • Fluctuated depending on projects, but there was always something to be getting on with.

  • Throughout the year the responsibility given was increased, however there was always someone to ask if you were stuck.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Having never worked in an office environment before I believe the skills I learnt here, even basic excel skills etc will be incredibly useful especially after uni

  • The team I worked with were all very friendly and there was a good atmosphere in our office.

  • I had several projects planned for me to get involved in and there was plenty of work for me to do.

  • Went on a training course, also had the opportunity to go on learn @ works.

  • It seems like a great place to work! Especially with the changing culture. However I would like to try working for another company after uni

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lunches with the team and fellow interns. But not much social scene

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home and commuted so never really experienced the costs of living and socialising there.

  • It was a small town so only a couple of pubs.

  • There was the football tournament which involved international travel.
