The Role
I have learnt so much it is astonishing but it has been hard work and requires huge dedication, motivation and determination
Sky have an amazing working atmosphere with plenty of bonding and social exercises and events. You feel valued and craed for.
I was always given plenty of support by direct managers and even when they moved on, much more senior staff members still took time to guide and encourage me and my own development.
When I was soley managing the product, I was working long hours and still could have worked more! I enjoyed it and was great experience but I am relived things are settling back down! You really do get out as much as you are willing to put in.
I was given more responsibility then I could have imagined and felt very valued in my opinions and decisions when people asked.
What I have learnt here has been life changing and something that I am very greatful for.
The Company
Definitely never dull! I had great people around me and although it wasn't always fun...it never stopped which kept spirits high without realising!
A few bumps along the way but very efficient and correcting errors.
I really felt my managers cared about my personal development and my future and did whatever they could for me.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
My placement contract has been extended this year, and I really feel I have developed good contacts to get in touch with after my final year at uni.
The Culture
I have made some great friends who are all in different areas so its great getting together after work to discuss personal life, and work life as everyone has so much to share
Its London! -But we found some good cheap gems to indulge in!
Not so much in the immediate office area, but London itself has been great!
From customer closeness exercises, to work parties, and organised grad/placement evenings!
