The Role
I enjoyed it. I enjoy the amount of workload that I was given. I was never stuck for something to do and always had work to be getting on with which made it a more engaging and challenging experience.
I felt valued by the majorty of my colleagues. I got this sense due to the fact that I was given a broad variety of work which was necessary as well as useful to the team that I was working with.
I was given good support by my mentor/supervisor through regular meetings where we would discuss how I was getting on as well as areas for potential improvement which is key.
The amount of work I had at any one time depended upon the week. However, I always had some work to be getting on with so I was always busy. This trait added to my learning and development within the role. However, it was generally failry balanced in the sense that I was always busy but there were only a few occasions where I was arguably too busy.
A fair amount of responsibility. The necessary tasks that I performed were checked. Some work I was given was useful but I didn't fell carried too much responsibility.
In terms of the skills I developed, I would say that they are hugely beneficial for my future beyond university in terms of aspects such as adaptation to office life as well as sector specific knowledge and skills. However, in terms of university, I don't feel that there are too much additonal transferable skills which I have learned as I am already very organised and motivated at university.
The Company
There was generally a good atmosphere and positive dynamic within my team in the office. A lot of the colleagues seemed to work well together and enjoy being part of the team that they were in. This created a positive effect.
It was very well organised. Beginning with intern training for the first 2 days, followed by leaning about the specific department I am working in, before moving on to putting this into practice and actually doing a good deal of work and contributing to my teams effort. There were a few minor glitches here and there but in general it was organised extremely well.
I was invested in a good deal in terms of personal training and development. This was through being assigned a mentor who guided me through the process, as well as shadowing various individuals within my depeartment in order to develop my knowledge of the area I am working in. I have also developed transferable skills to a greater extend in terms of organisation and approach to business which are extremely useful.

I would say that they are appealing. I would like to work for the organisation.
The Culture
There is a fairly good social scene amongst fellow interns. This is good as it allows us to get to know how others are getting on. The initial 2 days of training helped with this as it allowed many of the interns to get to know each other.
I would say that it was fairly good value for money in terms of what I got out of it. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that it was cheap.
Fairly livey and vibrant.
There were opportunities to get involved with citizenship projects, team activities, networking events as well as a few others.
