The Role
I enjoyed it a lot and felt that I got a good idea of what its like to work at Deloitte. I felt that the company took good care of me and made sure that I enjoyed the work I was doing.
I felt very valued and they were always very nice checking up on me and making sure that I had work and that I was getting along okay.
The management and supervisors were very good at explaining and giving guidance. I felt that I learnt a lot from the management and they shared a lot of their knowledge which I found was really good as that made it easier to transition into working on projects when the manager explained the context and their own personal insights about the clients.
I was rather busy most of the time but on some occasions I ran out of work and had to chase work to keep myself busy. This was mostly due to the vacation season.
I was given responsibility but since some of the work was rather technical I had to have guidance and was unable to complete all by myself. This had more to do with the technicality of the work rather than the fact that they wouldn't give me the responsibility.
I felt that I learnt a lot and gained new perspectives that I can apply to my studies. I believe that with the knowledge I have acquired will add another dimension to my analysis of certain business scenarios that I would have otherwise not considered.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and not very hierarchic. You could go up and talk to the partners and everyone made sure that I was having a good time. It was serious at times when people are working but if you had any questions or were wondering something everybody would take their time to explain. I thought it was a good mix of seriousness and fun. I would categorize the atmosphere as rather relaxed.
The organization of the internship was very good. It started with an induction where you got to see how things worked at Deloitte and then throughout the internship we had check ups and everyone made sure that we were doing okay. We also had socials with the other interns and it generally felt that the internship was very well thought out.
The firm made sure that I gained the most out of the internship and everyone put effort into involving me in projects. They made sure that I would understand what I was doing and there was always someone there to explain and teach me about how things work.

I would definitely consider working here in the future. I enjoyed the work and the atmosphere and believe that I would enjoy working here full time.
The Culture
We had socials together and I believed the social scene amongst the other interns was very enjoyable.
Since the internship was in London everything was rather expensive, especially living costs.
Its very good but as mentioned it is very expensive for the most part.
We had socials within the department and we had some sports tournaments that you could join.
