The Role
The internship was well structured and enjoyable. A lot of diverse work was handed out and responsibility to keep me motivated and engaged during the internship.
Employees had the time to provide feedback to the work I produced, and enganged in conversation willingly.
Support was given througout the program, not only from management but from various individuals around the desk.
Dependent on efficiency, but whenever I completed work, I always asked for work elsewhere or even other teams to provide the best possible utility.
I was given immense responsibility and thrown right in on the deep end, with helping create complex models from scratch and really delving into the technicalities of the market products I was covering.
The skills I've developed will be of considerable value ahead, for instance becoming more efficinet with the use of excel and having been in the work place environment I've learned to manage expectations.
The Company
The general atmosphere was quite energetic with a lot to do. People were always up for having a chat, and the trading floor surrounding was quite enjoyable to be in.
The internship was well structured, with multiple events such as networking/training sessions etc.. set in place to give us external experiences in the bank and meet other teams and people.
The firm invested a heavy amount of time to teaching me the inner workings of the bank and allowed me exposure to other teams that I otherwise wouldn't have known about.
Very appealing, the way the internship was structured I had time to visit other desks and get to know other people within the bank.
The Culture
There was an extremely social and collaborative social environment between fellow interns, and it was easy to communicate and confine with other interns.
