The Role
Loved it. I was in Markets and got along really well with my team.
My team went to lengths to make me feel part of the team. Even before I started, I was invited to go see them twice.
I managed to get pretty much whatever I asked for.
I did around 12 hours of solid work everyday and had some downtime as well. Team would often chitchat and discuss random stuff together so that helps.
I was staffed on the most interesting and important project the team had - that says it all.
The Company
I'm on a trading floor - people are friendly and fun
Overall it was well organised
I was allowed to attend a lot of training
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I think it can only get better from here for Barclays.
The Culture
Quite a social bunch of people. We go out for drinks regularly.
London's London, but you get paid enough.
not much in the wharf really
Plenty of volunteering activities as well as clubs.
