The Role
I really enjoyed the 9 weeks I spent with Allianz. Every single person I worked with was so lovely which made my time really enjoyable.
Everyone was extremely welcoming. They asked me every lunch if I wanted to join them.
They were always extremely happy to answer questions. I had regular catch ups with my mentor.
Occasionally was left with no work to do if everyone was extremely busy but this did leave me with time to do research using the intranet and gave me time to see what the other departments were doing.
I was given the perfect amount of responsibility. I never felt like I was out of my comfort zone.
I feel the skills I obtained were invaluable. I would have been extremely nervous going into a job and not knowing what an office was like if I had not completed this internship.
The Company
There was a perfect balance between people having a chat and allowing everyone to get on with their work.
When I arrived everything was in place for me. I had my computer and logon already set up. I was given jobs to do as soon as I arrived and there was no delay in getting stuck into the job.
I had no extra support outside of the office but I do not feel like this was needed. I did not expect this to happen for an internship.

Have not had a 100% answer yet but am hoping to receive a place on the graduate programme after I finish my last year at university.
The Culture
We all went for lunch together every day, We had 2 nights out together. Everyone got to know all of the other interns really well.
Very expensive! £4.80 doubles. Wetherspoons wasn't too bad though!
Not that great, I am local to the area I worked in so knew what it was like. The interns still had a great night out when we went.
We often went for lunch together. I expect there were more opportunities but I didn't take part in any,
