The Role
The whole experience was very good. Really would recommend applying.
The work environment at BDO beat my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from day 1 and I really felt like a valued member of the team
The managers and supervisors were very helpful and took the time out to explain things when necessary.
Most days I had a lot of work although there were some when I wasn't set much. Tried to make myself useful around the office when I could though.
A lot considering I was an intern and had no previous work experience in accounting or audit. It would've been better if we were exposed to some other areas though.
They will be very helpful

The Culture
Yes, there was a good bunch of people around my office in London. Socials were organised within sectors and within the whole audit group but we also socialised outside of work too.
Very expensive - What you expect in London though.
Okay.
Yes a lot. Like I said as interns we socialised outside of work whilst there was also a national BDO football tournament in Cardiff which was great.
