The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and would highly recommend it to others.
I felt very valued by many of my colleagues. The work the gave me reflected this.
My managers and supervisors were keen to see me develop and invested time and guidance in me. This was one of the best aspects of the internship.
A big effort was made to keep me busy with productive work. Some days were quite quiet but overall I was kept busy.
I was keen to get involved and develop and so I was given more responsibility as the internship progressed.
My degree subject is not too related, but undoubtedly the skills will come in use in other areas and afterwards.
The Company
The atmosphere is fantastic. Bdo is a great place to work. People are clearly happy here and that manifests itself in a very positive working environment and atmosphere in the office.
Clearly a lot of effort and preparation went into the internship. A great induction and training week in Birmingham followed by weekly rotations gave me great exposure to the company and industry.
Between the training week and guidance from managers, the firm was certainly keen to invest in us.
Very! There is great career prospects here.
