The Role
Great vibe and fantastic learning environment.
Naturally not given particularly high-priority work, and not much exposure to technical/modelling tasks. But all around felt that the work I was given was important and necessary.
Many points of contact across different levels of seniority.
There were definitely some times when I was twiddling my thumbs without much work, but tried to make the best of the free time to network etc.

Good preparation for the graduate position that you will hopefully be offered.
The Company
Generally pretty intense, with most people enjoying the job. Given the nature of the work, there are obviously some depressed and miserable people, but everyone gets along because they all suffer together.
Well structured pooling system.
Good training in the first week.

Would take a position with most teams here, though probably not all. Chances are good if you work hard and develop a good relationship with the teams.
The Culture
Drinks events almost every night. Good fun, and a lot more chilled than the contrived networking events.
Extremely expensive - welcome to the City of London.
Pretty good, but generally quite busy so apart from Fridays (and sometimes Thursdays) you're limited to a drink or two after work.
