The Role
I enjoyed my placement very much as I included myself into afield of a previous interest
I have been give the same or similar responsibilities as contract of permant staff.
I did not require a lot of support but what I needed they were there to help.
Days can vary between busy and very busy. after you get into the swing of things you should never have a boring day with nothing to do.
I have been individually tasked with order new equipment and developing test method into audio analysis.
They have helped me develop as a person, and prefessionally they have given me an insight into the automotive world. I couldnt ask for more.
The Company
There is a sense of camaraderie, but it is still a serious feild of work, people knew when to buckle down.
You do have be somewhat independant in finding your own way, this seemed to common with even contract and peromanent staff.
I recieved the appropiate training.

Seniors and managers have expressed )verbally and in written form) a desire to hire me again after university
The Culture
Graduate and Placement commiette arranges nights out. Ample amount of placement students and graduates for you to socialise with.
Lived in Cranfield, general amenities are resonable but cost of Taxi or bus into Bedford/milton keynes meant I miussed out on several socialising events.
Milton keynes has about 3 clubs? Revs, wonderworld, pink punters... if you can count them on one hand it is not a good sign. a stark contrast to student city Leeds. However, many sporting activities, rock climbing, snowzone, Lakes, karting provide activities at an expense.
as above 'However, many sporting activities, rock climbing, snowzone, Lakes, karting provide activities at an expense.'
