The Role
I enjoyed it much more than I expected to.
I feel very valued by all my collegues. I was given much more responsibility and respect than I had expected.
I was given lots of support by my line manager in the beginning but less as I progressed
Some days I was quite busy but some days I was much less busy
Lots of responsibility - gave presentations to people high up in the company and travelled on my own to given presentations of my research to the business units.
Presentation experience will definitely help me in the future in both my degree and beyond
The Company
Very nice and friendly atmosphere
Very well managed
They invested a lot in presentation activities and learning visits
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
I would love to work for this company in the future if there was a role that suited my interests
The Culture
Yes very good - we all lived together at the royal Holloway and there were lots of social activities
Living costs much reduced by having accommodation provided, social activities on the weekends could be quite expensive but local pubs were relatively well priced.
Pretty poor but funny in a large group
The charity challenge provided opportunities to get involved in the community with your peers
