The Role
It was extremely interesting! It was extremely enjoyable and challenging. Never a dull moment. A steep learning curve, but it was worth it. In my opinion, this is an experience everyone should have, especially if you want to work in the financial services industry.
They included me in everything, I was involved in almost everything immediately. Everyone make me feel welcome, and tried to answer any questions I had.
I had a mentor and a buddy on both rotations. They went over and beyond. They gave me advice and answered all my questions as well and tried as much as possible to help me settle in as fast as possible on my new desk.
It varied, but I was occupied at all times. Either at a meeting, working on spreadsheets, attending an intern event or seminar. Usually start the day with a quick report on the morning meeting, then do day-to-day work, some work on my project and work shadowing.

I also developed other soft skills as well, such as presentat
The Company
Everyone is generally poitive and upbeat. It is a great place to work in, the people are amazing and extremely helpful.
It was extremely well organized. A great mix of work and social events.
The firm invested a lot in us! We had excellent training sessions before the internship, even during the internship we had a number of learning sessions as well.

There's an opportunity to get a full time offer with the firm after the internship, which is great!
The Culture
Our intern class bonded quite well with each other. There were interns events, specifically for us to meet and get to know each other outside work.
London is generally a bit expensive, but relative to the city, everything was pretty decenty priced. But, as with big cities like London, you can find things to suit your budget.
The nightlife is quite good.
