The Role
Enjoyed the work I was given and was given great opportunities.
Was treated like an equal memeber of the team and made some great friends at Xerox.
Regular 1:1 meetings with my manager to discuss my progress and to discuss how to dvelop my business skills.
Very busy at month ends but overall the right amount of work given.
I was given a huge amount of responsibility and was given some great opportunities to be involved in new projects, meetings etc.
Has given me a good understanding of how a real business works. I can see the theory I learnt at university being applied in everyday situations.
The Company
Had a great laugh with my team but we were very focused when it was needed.
Generally well organised.
I took several online tests to improve my IT skills.
We have been all the information required to reapply for a job in the future. Placement students are given priority for upcoming jobs.
The Culture
Excellent social scene. Almost like being at university! There are about 70 students working for Xerox.
Quite expensive due to living so close to London.
Nightlife in Uxbridge is limited but there is easy access into central London.
Regular social events with the students plus five aside teams etc.
