The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my industrial placement.
From day 1 I was made to feel part of the team, now I'm pretty much part of the furniture.
Continously supported in all aspects, work related or not.
Some days i was extremley busy however other days i was given time to work on my portfolio.
Where appropriate was given leadership roles.
The confidence I have gained is next to nothing and the manner in which I approach work has completely changed.
The Company
Extremley fun and light hearted, but serious when required.
This is an area where imporvement is needed, as there is no structure to the placement at all.
They invested the right amount of time.
Subsidised/Company Gym
There are a lot of future employment prospects, such as the graduae scheme and also a lot of trainee jobs.
The Culture
Once we all knew each other, the social scene was great, being in a student city also helped.
As there are 2 universities in the area, the cost of living is fairly low, with a lot of deals.
Very good, everything is in good walking distance.
Most definitely if you put yourself out there!
