    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight was a very informative experience as it provided me with the perfect platform to push on to the Summer Vacation Scheme. I met a number of employees, managers and partners which gave me an amazing insight into the type of work KPMG provided. It is certainly somewhere I can see myself working in the long term.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt highly valued due to the care and attention provided by the firm. For example, for our presentation competition, KPMG brought partners to help us create this, which was an invaluable experience.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I received exceptional guidance from KPMG. This ranged from a handbook which provided me with in-depth experience and insight into the type of departments on offer at KPMG, to face to face presentational insights.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As I study Business Management, I believe that the information provided at the Spring Insight Week helped me. The information provided about Tax had some overlap with the studies I am taking at Durham University and it was refreshing to hear this information first hand from the KPMG work colleagues.

  • Very insightful as a broad range of information was provided.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very good. I was able to meet students from a range of different Universities and therefore I felt really comfortable and excited during the whole experience.

  • They have offered me a place in the Tax department in the Summer Vacation Scheme. Therefore, I feel like they have invest a lot into me.

  • Very much.

  • Highly informative as I was made aware of KPMG's values, history and the help they provide to students in the long-term.

  • There was a number of different departments I was made aware of and therefore I believe I need more first-hand experience to full decide on my future career path.

  • Yes. I met a number of different students and employees.

  • We was only in the office for two days so we never left for any social events. However, the in-house opportunities were numbered as we played many games.
