The Role
I enjoyed it greatly, there were many oppurtunities to learn and improve my skills as a software developer as well as being exposed to a professional working environment.
I got along very well with my colleageus and the team I was placed in was fantastic.
I was given a lot of guidance and support whenever I asked for it but never felt smothered by my line manager. He was always available if I needed to chat about something.
I was moderately busy, I always had something I could be getting on with.
I was given a lot of responsibility in terms of managing my own time and managing my project work. I also led some meetings and discussions.
They will help greatly, as I was exposed to a number of technologies that I had never been exposed to before
The Company
The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back, despite everyone getting on with there work. All of my colleagues were easy to approach and talk to.
Initially it took some time to get going but once I had gotten going, everything was pretty much a smooth process, organisationally.
They invested a lot in knowledge sharing sessions, networking sessions and learning sessions
They are very appealing, I would certainly like to work here.
The Culture
The fellow interns were very sociable and fun to talk to
It's London, so it was never going to be cheap!
