The Role
The particular role I was rotated onto did not interest me. The other events however and all the learning and networking opportunities made it a quite pleasurable Summer.
Line Manager and colleagues very supportive. Though due to the nature of my work, did not feel like I could contribute much to the team's goals.
Lots of support.
Depends. Some days I was booked out with meetings, events and then my own personal project to work on. Other days I just spent the time focussing on my project which was not too time consuming.
My project - whilst interesting, was meant more as a learning piece for myself. I don't feel like there will be much impact on the overall team going forward even though I have been told otherwise.
Learnt some very valuable techincal programs - including development of excel skills, however not much accounting and finance related due to the area I was in.
The Company
Very chilled. Everyone got along. Seemed very granular though, not much collaboration.
Internship set up was by and large good. Some issues with placing people in rotations that they had not indicated preferences for.
A lot was invested in us. 2 day induction at the beginning, as well as many events scattered throughout the program.
Sports and Social Club

The Culture
Could be quite cliquey. But you will always find super interesting people who you can connect to quite well on an individual level.
London... I lived quite close, so expect accomodation approx 180-220pw. Football is min. £6/person for 5 aside which is ridiculous coming from where I'm from!
CW has a lot of really cool bars which are always jam packed.
It was difficult at first as you have to get connected to different group channels on the company chat. But after that, it is quite easy.
