The Role
Revenue-generating work with high exposure to senior leadership.
I received great feedback from my colleagues on a daily basis, and really felt valued by the team.
My manager helped me to quickly establish myself within the team, and was always available as a point of contact if I reached a blocking point in my work.
The work was high-importance with great exposure to senior leadership - this meant that I was always very busy!
After my first week I was considered to be a 'full-time' memeber of the team and had the same responsibilities as colleague who had been in the firm for years.
I learnt a lot of new technologies, as well as learnt soft skills during the intensive training week.
The Company
Fantastic - there was a truly exciting mix of people that I was able to socialise with both in and outside of the office.
This was a well-established and organised programme.
The first week of the internship is dedicated to training soft skills and financial skills, along with continual technical training throughout the experience on the job.

The Culture
There were many internal events organised during the working day, along with evening events organised by colleagues.
I was based in London, so it's very expensive.
Canary Wharf has a great evening bar scene, and London more generally has some really good clubs.
I played football every week as part of a 5-a-side team, as well as options to play pool, table tennis, and attend social events.
