The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. There was variety and everyone was very supportive and friendly.
I felt very valued by my colleagues who took the time to give me feedback on all my work.
I was always given support by supervisors who gave my clear instructions on every task.
Due to the summer months I think it was quieter than normal, but colleagues made an effort to find me work.
I was allowed to create slides and attend staff meetings. However, I was not put in front of a client.
I thought the training about confidence building and networking were vital skills to learn.
The Company
Professional yet friendly.
Some managers I worked with didn't seem as prepared as others that they would have an intern under their wing.
The firm invested both time and money into training us with key soft skills in networking and presenting ourselves.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing. The benefits of the company are great.
The Culture
There was a good social scene amongst interns but the technology department seemed the most sociable.
It was expensive but KPMG paid for some social outings which was very generous.
Lots of bars and restaurants.
Yes there were societies and a gym.
