About You
I found it to be a hands on insight with the ability to go straight in at the deep end. I felt this was the best way in this industry to get a accurate representation of what work would be like.
Although the work I was doing obviously was not the hardest of tasks and not the most important, I did still feel valued as the work I was doing was going on file and needed to be done
Lots of guidance was given to me throughout my whole placement. If ever I needed any help with anything, be it the work or employment related things such as recording timesheets or expenses I found help readily available
I feel that I've developed a lot of skills that will help me in my degree and the extra curricular stuff I do at University. I feel going into work and seeing what you are working for will help me remain motivated in my final year and help me aim for something
The Company
My insight was very well structured. Although it wasn't clear 100% what needed done and what I could do there was always something that my managers had lined up for me to do, ensuring I was never doing nothing
To my surprise, everyone I worked with was really fun and although focussed on their work, always up for a laugh when appropriate! I've also had scheduled lunches, dinners, drinks and socials, so lots of fun and brilliant times
I was given lots of advice and insight into what it's like to work for the company from many different individuals in many different roles. I feel as if I've been given a honest insight and I have a good idea what it would be like

Everything Else
I was paid a salary and also reimbursed for other things such as train tickets to places which are not at the office. I was not at the office the whole time, so I was able to expense my ticket everyday as well as getting paid.
I had the experience of meeting all the other interns across the country at a weekend away. I also got to meet all people within my service line at a Audit social which was a great way to meet a wide range of people that I did not have the chance to work with
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend. I feel that it was a excellent opportunity to gain insight into the company, what they do and what the service line entails. I feel as if I was able to have a lot of exposure and build up on my knowledge and skills.
