  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was not extremely busy as I interned during the summer which is not the peak season. But I still got work to finish so I am learning quite a lot everyday!

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office is very nice. It was newly built with an open office so you will be able to sit with new people everyday. But I was outset the clients for most of the times. Some clients' office are nice but it depends.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship was really structured and offers are usually sent out quite early so you don't have to panic when the summer is approaching. We had an induction on our first day and had the chance to meet other interns in nearby offices. We were all assigned to a performance manager which you can be in contact anytime if you have any questions. And the intern ended with a Partner Interview, which is the final stage to secure a graduate role! You can be fast tracked to a Partner Interview if you performed well during your placement.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • New joiners have access to their e-learning platform which they called KPMG business school. We had the chance to finish quite a few introductory courses on our first day in the office.

  • Interns will be fast tracked to the Partner Interview of a Graduate Trainee if you performed well during your placement. This means you will know if you secured a graduate role with KPMG when you finish you internship. I passed the Partner Interview and got an offer on my last day of work.
