The Role
Gold mine of experience and engineering knowledge which can be put to use in any industry.
Always felt that I was a valued player in the team.
Excellent support network of engineers and technicians who are only too happy to help interms of day to day work and careers guidance.
Project work that really have the potential to make a difference
Sometimes get to lead project work which have six figure budget allocations. Some of my projects involve interacting with external suppliers and doing negotiations with them by myself to get the job done. Ideal level of complexity which continually challenges a student but not too complex & dangerous where a student cant get involved in.
Aside from the wealth of engineering know how I was exposed to, I was helped to develop a whole host of other professional skills. For example * Thorough and systamatic data analysis * Discipline at work * Tactful interactions and negotiations with other departments and suppliers * Proper record keeping * Planning and time management * Technical presentation skills
