    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A lot of support was provided by fellow employees and becoming a part of a team helped enhance my learning. I enjoy it most of the time.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Often I became a source of information for a lot of people and because I dealt with some many areas, you get some people that value you more than others. Some people can be plain ignorant though.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisor helped me gain the knowledge to be able to train other new starters and me help him take some of the pressure of the work. However, i didn't really talk much to my Manager as he was always very busy.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Jokes all around, but when work had to be done we got on with it.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The organisation was poor as i was covering for alot of things and i'm still hazy on their recruitment process after the placement year. Think i'm going to have to do a lot of badgering.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Mandatory training sessions every month pretty much and as much training as you could sign up to, plus hours throughout the year for voluntary work. What more can you ask for?
