The Role
The summer internship was great opportunity to get exposure to a global investment banking powehouse such as BAML, working with extremely qualified professionals in a great work environment,
Most of the employees are quite concerned with the development of summer analysts and associates, taking the proper time to coach and guide the us through our tasks. It is clear that the program is of great importance to the institution.

After a slow couple of weeks, the program reached a good pace and good work balance. Most of the days, the 10:00PM ceiling was observed.
After you gain their confidence, most of the employees give you the room to claim your space to run the show.
Although I had previous exposure to finance (on the DCM side), it was great to work on a different segment of investment banking (M&A), seeing in real life the application of concepts learned during the finance classes in my MBA.
The Company
Great work environment, with a healthy level of competition. It was great to witness the bank trying hard to make diversity part of its DNA.
Extremely well organized in terms of trainnings and events. HR did a spotless job.
Great investment of time and resources on summer analysts and associates.

I still don't have the results of the internship, but waiting with my fingers crossed.
The Culture
London is quite expensive unfortunately.
