The Role
I worked in 2 teams across my internship and all of my colleagues were easy to get on with and it helped me enjoy my experience at the firm that much more.
As long as you show enthusiasm and a willingness to broaden your horizons then your managers will help you along the way, giving you useful constructive feedback and supporting you in any way possible.
Work load can vary on a daily basis however overall, I was busy most days. I never had a moment where I didn't have something to do.
I was in completely in control of the course my internship would take. I decided when to meet with my manager and how much work I'd be tackling every day.

The Culture
The cost of living was quite high for me however all the interns were in the same position in the same accommodation, so it was a lot easier to make friends and find people with the same interests as you.
