The Role
I loved the environment of the bank, and the people I was working with were all interesting, driven people. As a technology intern the work itself was not very interesting, however that is largely down to the team you are in, and your personal interest (and knowledge) of finance.
A large part of my team was in India, and so felt somewhat distant. Those in London with me were really nice, interesting people.
Lot's of advice and direction, however still with a significant amount of freedom.
Once I was settled in, I was just a member of the team, and so always had lots to do and a reason to stay late.
I was given a significant and relevant project, as well as some other smaller parts which were deployed to the production version of the program during my internship.
The Company
There was a lot of pressure, the manager pushed the team, however people got on well and often went for lunch or a drink after work together.
Very well
J P Morgan were very organised and had lots of intern events throughout the time.
