The Role
Role of the job on a day to day basis varies and there is always something to do. Lots and lots of things to learn.
Never seen as a 'placement' student, always seen as a valued member of the team. Given the same incentives and goals as graduates.
Always training on hand, regular meetings with branch/area manager to assess progress with training.
Always busy, lots of things to do, never a dull day.
Given the same amount of responsibility as a graduate.
The training is very structured and set out from the very start about what is expected of you and how it is up to you as an individual to progress with the company, even chance of promotion with the company in placement year. In terms of assiting my final year studies, i dont think i could have picked a better company to work with, they have all the materials and support needed to help you even further.
The Company
Great atmosphere in the office, and with any other branches that you may speak to or work with during time spent with the company.
Very structured scheme, all training is set out in a training manual, so you know where you are with your training and what you need to do next.
The company never stop investing in training and development with any member of the team, whether it be a placement student, graduate, or an existing member of the management team.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Company have offered a part time job, during final year of uni, with the opportunity to return after finishing my course. Lots of promotional aspects for the future.
The Culture
Events put in place for placement students to get together and discuss experiences, also events in place for existing placement students to meet the new placement students.
The salary covered rent and socialising with ease... even chance to save some money!
worked in the same area as my uni
Company organise lots of social and charity events outside of work that you can be involved in.
