The Role
I enjoyed being part of such a big team and working with hundreds of application that affect millions of people.
It is hard to feel valued when you are part of such a big team. They loved the projects that I produced which made me feel like I had provided value for the team.
I like to ask a lot of questions and they answered them well. They guided me in the right direction and let me find out the answer still which helped me learn and improve.
It varied quite a lot, I was busier towards the start of the internship and it was a bit quieter in the middle.
I wasn't given much responsibility, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing though as they were letting me get used to the system and learn about some of the applications that we use. No one would be given a lot of responsibility in my role to start with.
I further increased my knowledge in a number of skills that will benefit me with my studies and my future. I feel like I learnt a lot during my time here.
The Company
Mostly very calm, sometimes during incidents that can change but it was a good working atmosphere.
I thought it was very well organized, I would have liked to have known a little bit more about my section before I started though. Also a trip to one of the front end offices would have been beneficial.
There was a lot of training offered to me which was nice, my team let me do whatever training I thought would benefit me.

Very appealing, it is a great organization to work for with amazing opportunities.
The Culture
There was but I struggled to be part of it as I wasn't living in the accommodation with most of them. I have built up a good social network with quite a few of them though and everyone is pretty easy to get on with.
I lived from home so it was cheap for me. Generally the area is pretty average, I wouldn't say it was cheap or expensive.
The nightlife in Bournemouth is quite good, there are a variety of good clubs.
There were a few but the placement is only 10 weeks so it is hard to fit everything in.
