The Role
Really enjoyed it, though would have liked the opportunity to see more of the bank.
Very. If you do work for people they appreciate it. But they will chase you if you do not deliver on time. Do not promise the world, only what you can realistically handle.
Managed by 3 VPs who delegated us to an Associate for support.
Very Busy. Aside standard BAU you are given projects with a deadlines. So if your BAU becomes light (which it likely will once everyone goes on holiday) you will focus on your projects.
I think a good term would be "Enough". You are given work at the same level as an analyst, and you are expected to deliver as such. However it would be great to have more responsibility at times.
Enrole in every online training course you can. The possibilities are almost endless.
The Company
LIVE! Once the trades start flowing and your desk is buzzing, there's nothing better.
Brilliant. HR support you throughout the internship and are keen for your feedback. The programme is very well planned
As I said before. Online courses, completely free to at your disposal.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Healthcare/Dental
Very appealing. Though the company does not put pressure on you to stay. If you want to leave for a grad scheme elsewhere they will help facilitate a move to your desired destination. If you want to stay and they want you to stay, everybody's happy. Once you're in, you wont want to leave.
The Culture
Yes, everyone goes out Fridays and Saturdays. Though some Fridays are given a miss if working late/exhausted from the week.
High.
Amazing.
Yes, corporate responsibility day, organised socials, networking events, sports clubs. Everything you'd expect at University, but in a company...... And you're getting paid to do it.
