The Role
I felt welcomed at the start of the internship and I feel appreciated now. I have also enjoyed all of the work I've done while I've been here.
My team has welcomed me and made an extra effort to make me feel included. My manager is amazing and my teammates have been supportive.
My manager and members of my team have always been ready to give me a helping hand and have gone out of their way to make sure I am comfortable doing what I do each and every day.
I have been quite busy, slightly more busy than I would feel comfortable being, but that's what working life is, and I don't feel pressured to work beyond my abilities.
I was given the perfect amount of responsibility. I am held accountable for my achievements and goals, as well as my objectives and whether or not I meet them. I was given guidelines as to what to work on and I had some freedoms as well.
Everything I've done while working here will benefit me in the long run--online training, not so much, but everything ELSE will help me while studying, working and plain old living. thanks to the time management skills I've learned and tweaked to perfection (IMHO)
The Company
Most people are happy and openly show it--there will always be different types of personalities present in the workplace, and JP Morgan only benefits from it.
The placement has been quite well organised. I have never felt like I've been abandoned or not well taken care of while I've been here.
I have been provided with opportunities to do training, but not as many as I would have liked.

I would love to continue working here, but I haven't secured my graduate placement yet!
The Culture
I had friends which I already knew and I have made a few great friends while I've been working here.
I already lived in Glasgow, so I can't comment on accommodation, but food and drinks is very reasonable, you just have to pick the right place. There is TONS to choose from!
Glasgow nightlife, nothing beats it.
Not many work-related activities. One volunteering day, two induction days in London and a cocktail party at the end.
