The Role
I got to a wide variety of tasks plus speak to a wide variety of people across the company.
I received some genuinely fantastic feedback from my team and received a great leaving present.
I had a fantastic line manager plus the support of the GM on my team.
I had a yearly target to hit which meant I always had something to work towards.
I owned a metric on the World Wide scorecard for Education.
I received fantastic training, both on and off job. Most of my team sat me down during the year, providing me with advice. I even left with additional qualifications.
The Company
Found that the team tended to travel a great deal, there is still a thriving intern community during the day.
Received induction days, planned events for interns and we were given projects for interns to own.
I was surprised, we were treated like full time employees, we received all the perks they received, including free access to training and skill workshops.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Am looking for a job there as we speak.
The Culture
Around ninety interns so at times it had a similar vibe to University.
Good considering we live so close to London.
Some good pubs and the SU was ok, nothing amazing though.
Close to London, plenty of open space.
