The Role
Felt like I was adding value to the team at early stages of the internship. Environment and culture of the firm is top class.
I felt valued by my colleagues. I was within a smaller team in the department so this allowed all team members to be closer.
My manager was good, ensuring that I had a task to do at all times. Tried to keep variety and understands the importance of working independently.
Varied, depending on type of business and project assignments. Wasn't doing business as usual tasks but project kept me busy most times.
Reasonable amount, I was given my own projects. Being the only intern in the team meant that I had to be responsible.
It will help future networking events and key skills like time management and prioritisng will be useful.
The Company
As it was back office, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Easy to go to another desk and discuss any work related topics.
Internship was well structured. The HR team did very well in ensuring that the interns are happy and were more than happy to discuss any issues.
J.P. Morgan take training seriously, from apprentices to interns to full time staff. They ensure that every member of staff goes through the same training and that the same standards are met by everyone.

Future Prospects are appealing, will come back to J.P. Morgan if I receive a graduate offer at the end of the internship.
The Culture
Yes, most interns stayed at university accommodation.
Cost of living and socialising were reasonable.
Nightlife was good, slightly on the expensive side (maybe due to being summer).
Yes, the company has a sports club that offer a variety of sports (football, tennis, netball, swimming, rugby etc...).
