The Role
It really depended on how much work I had to do. In the first few weeks I was very busy, constantly in an out of meetings and doing little tasks - I loved it. Then towards the middle of the internship, things slowed down and I found myself bored with not much to do. I think this depends on your manager though as I know that many interns has a quiet couple of weeks at first doing training and by the end were very very busy.
My team were lovely and I got on with all of them. They all offered lots of help and advice, offered to go through my end of internship presentation with me and often asked me questions about how I needed information from them for the pieces of work I was collating for the team. We also went out for drinks occasionally and I never felt looked down on.
Again it varied, my manager got very busy towards the end of the internship and did not have as much time for me at the end, but I had a lot of contacts who gave me lots of help, advice and guidance.
As said previously, it varied. Extremely busy for the first few weeks, then I had days where I had nothing to do at all and then it picked up again with some busy days and some slower days.
I was given plenty of responsibility, I was only doing jobs that needed to be done and would have had to have been done by someone else had I not been there.
My time management skills have improved greatly, as has my attention to detail - both things that will help me at university. I feel that I have also become more confident, especially with senior colleagues.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and fairly chilled out. Not a stressful environment at all.
The organisation of the internship was really good with lots of check ins, networking events and even social events.
There is plenty of online training that can be done but this is pretty much up to you and your manager how much you want to do/ have to do. Depending on the department you have a few days training at the start of the internship. Operations did not have this, just an orientation day.

Clearly lots of opportunities to progress and do very well for yourself. Does not seem hard to get an offer unless you really mess up.
The Culture
Yes, the interns go out quite a lot and hung out at lunch most days.
Expensive. Its London.
Really good, but pricey.
Yes, there are sports teams and there was a charity run that everyone had the option of getting involved in
