The Role
Nice to get out the classroom and apply some knowledge in a production environment.
Great bunch on guys were working with who have a range of experience across varying fields, always willing to help.
Were left to find my own feet but when asked for support it was given generously, I felt this suited me.
There was always more work that could be conducted.
One of my project was purchasing $150,000 of equipment and free reign was given to investigate them.

The Company
My manager was the key driver behind any training that took place. If he hadn't gone out his way to promote the training to me I wouldn't have been invited to various training sessions. A slight lack of structure regarding final year projects and sponsorship would also have been more welcome.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events

Would be very appealling if not in Huddersfield as thats where I'm originally from and looking forward to a change.
The Culture
Plenty of students about from both work and Huddersfield uni if involved (like myself) with activities outside of work.
Lived at home, Huddersfield generally cheap, cycled to work.
Few good pubs about. Is very good for a town. Manchester/Sheffield/Leeds in close distance for Dubstep/Jazz/Funk clubs
Plenty of clubs/groups. I have been in 3 bands, a cycling club and raced regulally around Yorkshire.
